Should a situation with an employee arise, it is important to establish the root of the issue at an early stage in order to ensure that the most cost effective advice can be provided from the outset.

It is now imperative that a potential claimant notifies ACAS at an early stage of a potential dispute under the Early Conciliation process. Unless this is undertaken, a claim cannot be brought before the Employment Tribunal. There may be circumstances where the Employer elects to notify ACAS of a pending claim.
